B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)


The Bachelor of Technology is an undergraduate academic degree conferred after completion of a three or four-year program of studies at an accredited university or accredited university-level institution. The degree is conferred in the Commonwealth of Nations, the United States and elsewhere.

In India, the Bachelor of Technology degree is used by the highly ranked and autonomous institutes such as Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT formerly UDCT) for professional engineering programs.

B.Tech is full time 4 year degree in technology after 10+2. For addmission in top universities and colleges there are several Entrance Exams.

Eligibility Criteria :

The minimum academic qualification for admission in B.Tech is that candidate must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent with aggregate score of minimum 60% in PCM + English (For Maximum Univerties).
